The best of international cinema returns to Miami when the Miami Jewish Film Festival (MJFF) takes over the city for its 19th year, bringing 80 films from 20 countries, and hosting 50 filmmakers and special guests, including Academy Award-winner Richard Trank and Emmy Award-winner Roger M. Sherman. MJFF, the largest Jewish cultural event in Florida, and the third largest Jewish film festival in the world, has announced a line-up of films to be screened and events to be celebrated from today through Jan 28, featuring over 40 film premieres and an additional 35 shorts. On this weekend, Ocean Drive from 5th to 13th Streets is closed to traffic, allowing vendors to sell their wares, entertainment acts to perform, classic cars to be showed off to admirers, and other fun activities to be enjoyed by eventgoers. The Life in Color Festival, billed as "the world's largest paint party," returns to its roots here in Florida after touring the world in such exotic locales as San Salvador, El Salvador and Manchester, United Kingdom.
