NEW YORK - Coney Island's historic Cyclone roller coaster has broken down for the second time this season.

WNBC-TV reports that riders were forced to climb down the wooden structure when it broke down in the middle of their ride Saturday.

No injuries were reported.

A spokeswoman for Luna Park, which manages the roller coaster, says there was "a minor issue" with the ride that was fixed without incident. After inspection, the Cyclone was back up and running later Saturday.

The 88-year-old Cyclone also broke down when it opened for the season in March.
