'All Stars' Icon Phoenix Destroys Ice Spice with Viral Clapback

"Drag Race All Stars" cast member Phoenix aired her thoughts on Ice Spice after the rapper critiqued the queen on the first episode of the show's 10th season.
In the May 9 premiere episode on Paramount+, Ice Spice dismissed Phoenix's performance in the "Slits and Tits" runway challenge, saying, "I hear you're a legendary icon, but tonight I don't think I would have been able to tell with how shy you were" – an assessment Michelle Visage agreed with, Gold Derby reported.
But it was to the "Munch" rapper that Phoenix directed the dagger of her sharp retort in an Instagram Story post, Just Jared noted.
"My 25 years of experience and decades of contributing to my community is what makes me an ICON! Not 3 minutes on a tv show," Phoenix said.
"That being said, Im perfectly fine not getting 'icon' validation from someone who's 'fame' has come from 1 song about sh-tting and farting," the entertainer went on to add, referencing the Ice Spice song "Think You the Shit (Fart)" – which, in fact, Phoenix's castmates Aja and Irene the Alien teamed up on to lip sync on that same episode.
"'RuPaul's Drag Race' has produced plenty of hip-hop versus reality television beefs," hot New Hip Hop noted. "Nicki Minaj, Megan Thee Stallion, and now, Ice Spice have their fare [sic] shares of beef with contestants."
"All Stars" 10 features the biggest cast of queens in the show's history, including fan favorites Ginger Minj, Tina Burner, Aja, Denali, Kerri Colby, and Jorgeous, among others.
The slate of guest judges is just as starry; Colman Domingo was featured on the season's second episode, which also dropped on May 9. "Wicked" stars Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande will also guest judge this season.
