Andy Cohen Begs CNN to Allow Alcohol for New Year's Eve Broadcast

It wouldn't be New Year's without drunken meltdowns on TV, and Andy Cohen has reportedly begged CNN to "give the daddies some juice."
As reported by People, Cohen let it slip at BravoCon that he has asked CNN to reverse their ban on hosts drinking alcohol on New Year's Eve after last year's fiasco.
"I haven't heard anything yet, but come on, they need to let us drink. It's New Year's Eve," he said. "That didn't go well last year in terms of viewer happiness about us drinking. People really cared and I hope CNN gives the people what they want."
In June, Cohen told Howard Stern on his eponymous show that the alcohol ban was not a success.
"What a bungle," Cohen put it simply.
He added, "People want to see me make Anderson giggle, and they love to see him do shots."
Cohen has been hosting the New Year's Eve special with his bestie Anderson Cooper for 7 years. After drinking pickle juice last year to keep themselves busy, Cohen flat out said that their efforts to "get around" the alcohol ban were "stupid."
