Britney Spears has found the perfect voice to tell her story. As reported by People magazine, Spears has enlisted five-time Oscar-nominated actress Michelle Williams to narrate her highly anticipated memoir, "The Woman in Me."

Spears will reportedly record an introduction to the audiobook, with Williams handling the rest.

"This book has been a labor of love and all the emotions that come with it," Spears said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. "Reliving everything has been exciting, heart-wrenching, and emotional, to say the least. For those reasons, I will only be reading a small part of my audiobook."

She added, "I am so grateful to the amazing Michelle Williams for reading the rest of it."

Williams added, "I stand with Britney."

Spears' memoir due out Oct. 24, through Gallery Books, an imprint of Simon & Schuster.

Promos for the memoir promise to reveal "for the first time her incredible journey (and) strength at the core of one of the greatest performers in pop music history." According to Gallery Books, the memoir "illuminates the enduring power of music and love – and the importance of a woman telling her own story, on her own terms."
