Kiehl's Launches New Location in NYC's Hell's Kitchen

As if the message wasn't already clear, the arrival of Kiehl's to the trendy neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen in New York City solidifies the enclave as the new gay mecca. It only took just over 160 years for this old-world apothecary to make the pilgrimage from its original East Village location.

The skincare and grooming company has been a stalwart supporter of LGBT-related causes, such as The Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR). For the opening of its latest New York City location, Kiehl's has chosen the Ali Forney Center - the largest agency dedicated to serving homeless and runaway LGBT youth in New York City and in the nation - as its beneficiary. The company will donate $10,000 to the nonprofit organization.

Although the store opened last month, the official launch party will take place on Monday, December 9, 7:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to hobnob with handsome Kiehl's USA President Chris Salgardo, and enjoy some celebrity karaoke. Be sure to arrive in your best holiday threads, as the most festive outfit will score a year's supply of Kiehl's valued at $1,000.

The evening will be emceed by New York City nightlife icon Ladyfag, with special performances by Alan Cumming, Betty Who and other surprise guests.
