The Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Orange County has announced their latest Cabaret Series and it's a Broadway divas-lover dream come true! Four Broadway stunners from stage and screen are set to light up the stages at the Segerstrom Center from October 2019 through April of 2020.

Up first is Grizabela herself, Betty Buckley! The star of such stage smashes as "Cats" and "Sunset Boulevard," the award-winning actress of stage and screen also has 18 solo albums under her belt and her cabaret evening will undoubtedly pull dozens of songs from her prolific career. She performs Oct 17-19th at the Samueli Theatre.

Next is a newer Broadway and TV sensation, Megan Hilty who became a household name during her scene-stealing star turn in ABC's "Smash." From roles in "Wicked" and "9 to 5: The Musical," Hilty has proven to be a captivating talent who will next be seen as Patsy Cline in "Patsy and Loretta" which airs October 19th on Lifetime. The oft-nominated actress brings her undeniable charm and charisma to the Samueli Theatre on November 14-16th.

In 2020, Lillias White will bring audiences on a biographical journey from her childhood in Brooklyn to her outstanding career on Broadway with "From Brooklyn to Broadway." From her start in "Barnum" in 1981 to her award-winning performance of Effie in "Dreamgirls" in 1987 to her Tony nominated turn in "Fela!" Ms. White has had a career many dream of and she'll astound audiences with her story from January 23-25th of next year.

Lastly, Eliza Doolittle herself, Laura Benanti will thrill audiences with her undeniable talent when she takes the Samueli Theatre stage on April 23-25th. Having appeared opposite Patti Lupone in "Gypsy" as well as star turns in "She Loves Me" and "Into the Woods," Benanti closes the series with her "thrilling voice and wild sense of humor."

Previously, Patti LuPone was to take the Renee and Henry Segerstrom stage in March, however she will now be appearing in the revival of "Company" on Broadway. Fingers crossed she will make her appearance in Orange County next season. No replacement has yet been announced.
