'Mandalorian' Star Pedro Pascal is All In as Supporter of Trans Sister

Pedro Pascal, the star of the "Star Wars"-related Disney+ series "The Mandalorian," is 100% behind his transgender sister, who came out in fine style on the cover of Ya, a Chilean magazine.

Pascal took to Instagram to celebrate, posting an image of the cover and posting, "Mi hermana, mi corazón, nuestra Lux" ["My sister, my heart, our Lux]," People magazine reported.

Lux - who, People noted, is "now studying acting at the famed Juilliard School in New York City" - told Ya magazine that her older brother "has served as a guide for me. He was one of the first people to gift me the tools that started shaping my identity."

Lux also shared that her "transition has been something that's very natural for everyone in my family. It's almost something that they expected to happen."

Pedro Pascal evinced nothing but delight and support when Lux told him over Facetime that she was coming out as trans. "Perfect, this is incredible," she recalled her brother as saying.

Lux had come out as non-binary to her family previously, noted USA Today. Over time, her process brought her to the disclosure that she is trans.

Said Lux: "I can finally say that I am a woman."
