Photo Sharing App Launches With Series Who's Who Parties During Miami's Art Basel

Monday Dec 4, 2017

(New York, NY, December 4, 2017) - Photo Butler, a real-time, group photo sharing platform and mobile app on Android and iOS devices, will be hosting a handful of star-studded and socialite who's who parties at this year's famed Art Basel held in Miami, Florida.

Among the week-long events, Photo Butler will host a party at Soho House Beach House on December 8 at 8 pm. Guests will be invited to download the app and via a personalized live stream, capture the exclusive launch party hosted by famed actress/producer Rosario Dawson, and socialites Anna Rothschild and Claudine DeNiro. Also in attendance will be famed mixed media artist, Tiago Margo, who will be creating live-action paintings on canvas throughout the event, and London turntables master DJ JEZ PERERIA.

Initially created to help celebrate and share photos at weddings, concerts, and athletic events, this time around Photo Butler will be launching to the world of art and culture. Along with the Soho House event, the app has also teamed up with Art Media Holding to curate three unique public streams sponsored by Modern, ARTnews and AMH Ad Sales. These one-of-a-kind photo streams can be streamed at dress designer Paris 99, Surf Lodge - who will be hosting two Photo Butler events on Thursday the 7th and Friday the 8th - an opening event at the Fridge Art Fair, and Norwegian Craft. Last, but certainly not least, will be the Renegade Activation, "Art Basel + Venice FRINGE renegade show featuring Nick Turner." The event, presented by In Heroes We Trust producer, Neely Shearer, will take place at the Biscayne Church on Saturday, December 9th. Guests will have the opportunity to be an integral part of the experience by leaving their own "Love Stories" on the walls of the venue. Photo Butler will be powering the late night activity for the Art Basel crowd to dance the night away as they will also be partnering with famed restaurateur/socialite Omar Hernandez of Omar's La Ranita's Pop Up at Employees Only at 1030 Washington Ave in Miami Beach.

Photo Butler is unlike other photo sharing apps. It empowers users to create or schedule a one-of-a-kind photostream for any event or moment, and invite guests to view or contribute without the distraction of manually texting, emailing and uploading photos to social media.

"We automate the process of sharing so users can be fully present in life's most important and mundane moments, free of distraction," said Andy Goldfarb, founder of Photo Butler. "From weddings to athletic events and concerts, we've been a part of hundreds of events and helped users share thousands of photos without a single text, email or upload. We are changing the way the world shares memories."

Additionally, Photo Butler uses advanced facial recognition technology to identify those who frequently appear in the stream and enable easy search as well as with its unique feature of artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The app has been utilized by both regional and national organizations, including Bridal Wars, a national competition and bridal show featuring fun, one-of-a-kind challenges; and the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), a two-day bike-a-thon across Massachusetts that donates 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for research and treatment.
