"RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 2 winner Tyra Sanchez posted a formal apology to FaceBook this week for her online behavior.

Sanchez has faced criticism for allegedly threatening fellow show alumni, according to GayTimes.com. She also allegedly "falsely announced another queen's death," according to Hornet.com.

Entertainment Weekly writes: "Sanchez allegedly threatened season 4 contestant Phi Phi O'Hara and season 2's Tatianna with physical violence and was seemingly banned from RuPaul's DragCon L.A. as a result."

In her apology post, posted below, the performer said her behavior was influenced by, and in part caused by her inability to cope with judgement and criticism.

"I allowed the negativity to consume me. Boiling it inside and smiling through tears I became rebellious; thought it empowered me," wrote Sanchez. "Many times I expressed myself without thinking things through. I reacted out of fear and with anger. Neglecting the fact that I was wrong, I unleashed my anger upon anyone who crossed me. Making them pay for old and new because I thought it made me feel better.... I was angry, hurt and lost."

She also said that during her social media break, which caused her to "disappear from the grid," she "dedicated my time to finding my true authentic self and really utilized the time to do some serious soul searching."

Recognizing that she hurt many people with her behavior, she asked for a second chance from her fans and those reading her apology.

"I am asking for a second chance with you. Please excuse my absence and understand why I needed the time to grow and mature. Please forgive me for my online actions prior to this letter and continue to pray for me as I enter into the next chapter of my life. Allow me the chance to be the king you were rooting for..."
